The World Football Governing Body (FIFA) Has Officially Appointed Engineer Hersi Said As A Member Of The Men’s Club Competitions Committee For The Period 2025 To 2029.
The Appointment Was Formally Announced Through A Letter Dated October 7, 2025, Signed By FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström. According To The Letter, The Decision Follows The FIFA Council Meeting Held On October 2, 2025, During Which Hersi’s Name Was Approved As Part Of The Global Committee.
FIFA Stated That Engineer Hersi’s Appointment Reflects Confidence In His Leadership And Experience In Football Administration. The Organization Also Assured Him Of Its Full Support In Carrying Out His Duties Effectively, And Requested Him To Confirm His Personal Details To Facilitate Administrative Processes.
Engineer Hersi, Who Also Serves As President Of The Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB), Joins A Select Group Of Global Football Administrators Tasked With Overseeing The Organization And Development Of FIFA’s Men’s Club Competitions Worldwide.
